Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is both a privilege and an honour to invite you to attend the XIIIth International Myeloma Workshop to be held in Paris from May 03- 06, 2011.

In continuation with the previous organizers of this important biannual event, we aim to provide a compelling scientific programme highlighting emerging advances in our understanding of the biology and treatment of myeloma disease. We also aim to stimulate lively debate within the myeloma community and to contribute to efficient diffusion of medical information.

Striving to further improve the quality of the meeting through various initiatives is another exciting task for us. The location of the Workshop, in the Carrousel du Louvre which is right in the city centre, will ensure that you all enjoy both the meeting and the fascinating city of Paris.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to Paris in May 2011!
